On the occasion of the 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), a colorful joyous procession was initiated by the district BNP from the party office in Chhota Bazar at 11 am. The procession circled various important roads in the district town and met at the local public hall for a discussion meeting. Newly elected president of Netrokona District BNP, Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Haque, presided over the founding anniversary discussion meeting moderated by former joint convener Tajezul Islam Faras Shujat. Among others, the general secretary of the district BNP, Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Hilali, member of the national executive committee, Principal Rabeya Ali, former president of the district BNP, former member of parliament, freedom fighter Ashraf Uddin Khan, former organizing secretary of the district BNP, SM Shafiqul Quader Shuja, former joint convener of the district BNP, Bazlur Rahman Pathan, District Krishak Dal President Salahuddin Khan Milky, Sadar Upazila BNP General Secretary Taj Uddin Faras Sentu, Municipal BNP General Secretary SM Moazzem Hossain, former District Jubo Dal President Mashiur Rahman Moshu, former District Jubo Dal Senior Vice President Md. Abdullah Al Mamun Khan Roni, Volunteer Dal President Solaiman Hasan Rubel, District Sramik Dal President Akiqur Reza Khan Khokon, District Tati Dal President Saif Uddin Ahmed Lelin, District Chhatra Dal President Anik Mahbub Chowdhury, among others. Finally, a prayer and Milad Mahfil was held to pray for the recovery of BNP Chairperson and national leader Begum Khaleda Zia and for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the country.
