Preparation meeting held to mark the centenary celebration of Paisha High School

A preparatory meeting was held to mark the centenary of the traditional Poysha High School in Louhajang Upazila of Munshiganj. The meeting was organized at 12:30 pm in the school’s meeting room yesterday, Thursday (August 28). The preparatory meeting, chaired by the school’s managing committee president Abul Kashem Khan and moderated by the former students’ union president Nur Hossain Molla Sadhu, was addressed by former student A: Jalil Bepari Johnny, former students’ union office secretary journalist Tajul Islam Rakib, Abdul Dewan, Md. Headmaster Md. Masud Khan, Anwarul Islam. The school’s principal, former teachers, guardians, former and current students were present at the meeting. They proposed to undertake various programs to make the centennial celebration successful and memorable. The speakers said that a celebration committee will be formed within the next month. It was informed at the meeting that various programs including discussions, cultural programs, sports competitions, alumni reunions, and publication of commemorative books will be undertaken to mark the centenary celebration. In the president’s speech, Abul Kashem Khan of the school said, “A century is a historic achievement for any institution.” “We will work together with everyone on this occasion.” There is a lot of enthusiasm and excitement among students, parents, and people from all walks of life in the area surrounding the centennial celebration. Present at the time were the guardian members of the Managing Committee Md. Shahin Khan, Md. Abdul Dewan, Md. Hashem Dewan, Md. Anwar Khan, Md. Bazlu Sheikh, Md. Shahjahan Howlader, Md. Kausar Khan, Md. Afzal Khan, Md. Saiful Islam Osman, Md. Sanwar Hossain Jiku, Md. Salauddin Ahmed Shaon, former students, students, assistant teachers and staff of Poysha High School.
