Chittagong bureau : 

New office of Chittagong Reporters Forum (CRF) has been inaugurated.

Today, Sunday (August 24), Chittagong Reporters Forum (CRF) President Kazi Abul Mansur inaugurated the office of Meherun Tower (third floor) at 127 Momin Road, Andarkilla, Chittagong.

Senior journalist Zahurul Islam delivered the welcome speech. Hasan Mukul delivered the vote of thanks.

The opening ceremony was moderated by Chittagong Reporters Forum (CRF) General Secretary Golam Maula Murad,  and members of the organization, senior journalists Sajal Chowdhury, Mohan Mintu, Saifullah Chowdhury, Bhupen Das, Mohammad Gias Uddin, M Iqbal Hossain  Mohammad Ali, Monirul Islam Parvez, Abul Kashem Saroj, Tanvir Ahmed, Hasan Murad, SM Pintu, Sarwar Amin Babu, Rozi Chowdhury, and others spoke at the opening ceremony.

The president of the organization, Kazi Abul Mansur, said,
One of the tasks of the forum will be to improve the quality of journalism through appropriate training. In the current trend of journalism in the country, journalists face various problems in producing quality reports. The Chittagong Reporters Forum will play a role in filling that gap. In the future, the forum will undertake various programs including the overall welfare of its members.

Later, the program ended with cake cutting and prayer.

Kamrul Huda conducted the prayer at the inaugural ceremony.
