Lauhjang (Munshiganj) Correspondent

The Lauhjang Upazila Press Club has officially started its journey in Lauhjang Upazila of Munshiganj. At the same time, an 11-member executive committee has been formed for the next two years (2025-2027). The committee was formed unopposed as there were no more than one candidate in a simple ceremony held at the field adjacent to the upazila’s Officers’ Club on Monday.

Abu Naser Khan Limon (Dainik Amar Desh) was elected as the president and Tajul Islam Rakib (Daily Morning Glory) was elected as the general secretary. The other elected members are – Vice President: Golam Manjure Maula Apu (Dainik Naya Diganta), Rubel Islam Tahmid (ATN-MCL), Deputy General Secretary: Fauji Hasan Khan Riku (Dainik Rupbani), Organizing Secretary: Sheikh Md. Likhon (Dainik Amar Praner Bangladesh), Treasurer: Md. Swapan Bepari (News Bangla), Office Secretary: Md. Zahid Hasan (Dainik Manabatar Konth), Publicity and Publication Secretary: Faisal Hossain (Dainik Sarabela), Executive Member – Saddam Hossain Rajib. After the formation of the committee, the journalists present wished for the success of the Louhajang Upazila Press Club and pledged to provide free, impartial and objective news.
