This day is celebrated as World Wushu Kung Fu Day with various events, only for “wushu fans”. On Saturday, a colorful rally and Kung Fu display was held at the Collectorate Grounds at 9:30 am on Wushu-Kung Fu Day under the initiative of Nadim Martial Arts Wushu Center. The day was specially celebrated by the Wushu Association from Netrakona Arena. Led by Nadim Ahmed, founder and instructor of the District Nadim Martial Arts Wushu Center, the joy rally took out and circled the main roads of the district town. Wushu and kung fu athletes from the district, clubs, and organizations participated in the rally. Present at the event were Vice President of the District Wushu Center Moni Chairman, Joint Secretary of the District Wushu Center Pranoy Biswas, Publicity and Publication Secretary Hafiz Ullah Chowdhury Alim, Member Delwar Hossain, Guardian Md. Aulad Hossain and leaders of various socio-cultural organizations of the district. Journalists from print and electronic media were present.
