To mark the anniversary of the mass uprising in the youth ideology, disabled people’s fair was held in Joypurhat
On Monday (August 4), the fairl was organized in the Pourashabha community center in collaboration with the Jolo Council that was implemented by the voluntary organization Body Clinic. Representatives disabled people from different areas of Joypurhat district participated in it.
The participants presented various events in the fair. In addition, various events were presented by them at a stall. The organizers said that the event was an opportunity for the delegates to keep up with the current era. They talked about various steps for the delegates to move forward. At the end, the delegates were given a certificate of honor.
Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akhter Chowdhury addressed the function as chief guest. The fair was also addressed, among others, by executive officer of Zilla Parishad Sarkar Mohammad Raihan, district Social Welfare Officer Imam Hasim, Assistant Police Superintendent Amir Hamza, district education officer Ruhul Amani, Joypurhat General Hospital Superintendent Sardar Rashed Mubarak, UNO of Sadar Upazila Rashedul Islam, district disabled affair officer Jannatul Ferdous, Student Representative Hasibul Haque Sanjid and district coordinator of Body Clinic Rakibul Hasan.
