A discussion meeting titled ‘The Speech of July Fighters’ was held in Bandarban at the initiative of the Mass Solidarity Movement. The meeting was held on Friday (August 1) afternoon at the party office in Ujani Para of the city.Meeting was presided over by the party’s district president Nizam Uddin (Mizan).at this time Ripon Chakraborty the executive coordinator of the Mass Solidarity Movement moderated the discussion meeting.Kyaw Sha Mong Marma the central leader of the Mass Solidarity Movement spoke as the chief guest.He said the previous government took away the people’s right to vote. Autocratic behavior pushed the people towards a mass uprising.People’s anger against irregularities and corruption led to their active participation in the fall of the previous government.On the same day,a quiz competition and prize distribution ceremony was held under the initiative of Bangladesh Students Federation.Advocate Uba thuai Marma,member of Bandarban Hill District Council was present as the chief guest at the event.At this time he said that,such an event will contribute to the knowledge of the students.In the future,students will be able to improve their knowledge and work for the development of their country.The quiz competition and prize distribution ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Alexander Bawm, organizer of Bangladesh Students Federation,Bandarban district.Payal Dey served as the host of the event.
