Beginnings in Adolescence: The Story of Becoming Fearless Ibn Sayed Angkur’s journey in journalism began during his teenage years. At a very young age, he received the prestigious “Nirbhik Koishor Journalist Award” (Fearless Youth Journalist Award), recognizing his early courage and capability. That was the beginning of his mission to speak up, question boldly, and work selflessly for society. Remarkable Contributions in Social Work Outside journalism, Angkur holds another prominent identity that of a social activist. Born in Kishoreganj of Nilphamari district, he takes immense pride in his hometown and continues to work for it with quiet determination. Through his involvement with the Shorno Kishoree Network Foundation, he has been tirelessly working to improve adolescent health, develop leadership skills, and instill a sense of responsibility among teens. His efforts have turned Kishoreganj into a “Golden Upazila” and Nilphamari into a “Fearless District.” In recognition of these contributions, he has received numerous accolades at upazila, district, and national levels.
