A bogie detached from a moving train in Boalkhali, Chittagong. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

On Saturday (July 26), around 3 pm, a bogie of the Dhaka-bound Cox’s Bazar Express separated from the upazila’s Gomdandi station area.

Md. Tawsif, who was in charge of the railway bogie, said that a part of the joint of the bogie was damaged and the bogie separated from the moving train. It was a canteen bogie, there were 10/15 passengers and they were put in another bogie.

However, no casualties were reported. The engine will come from Jan Ali station and then take them.

Gomdandi station master Anwar Babu said that the last bogie of the Dhaka-bound Cox’s Bazar Express separated from the moving train after Gomdandi station at 3:10 pm and the passengers were put in another bogie. The train later left the carriage. There were no casualties or any inconvenience to the passengers.
