Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizen Party, said, you will not be afraid of any extortionists. The National Citizen Party will stop all extortionists and terrorists. After the July uprising, we have sought reforms in the country, sought justice, and a new constitution. But a party wants to come to power by holding elections without reforms.

He also said, we know about the health, education, and transportation system of Satkhira. We need a railway line here, we will implement it. The National Citizen Party will work to protect our Sundarbans and the climate.

Nahid Islam said, a party wants to come to power by nurturing terrorism and moonshiners. We want to tell them that we forced the dictator Sheikh Hasina to flee to India. Those who walk this path will also face the same fate. In the future, we will issue a manifesto against extortionist terrorists. All of you will be in favor of the July uprising.

Hasnat Abdullah said, we want to form a district committee to eradicate extortion in the district. From today onwards, wherever you see extortionists, you will be given to the police by giving a round of blows. Bangladesh NCP and students will unite and stop all the misdeeds of the country, God willing.

He said these words as the chief guest at a road meeting organized by the District Citizen Party (NCP) at Shaheed Asif Square at Khulna Road intersection in Satkhira city on Saturday (July 12) afternoon. Satkhira Citizen Party convener Kamruzzaman Bulu presided over the meeting and member secretary Dr. Moniruzzaman moderated the meeting. Sarjis Alam, chief organizer of the northern region of the National Citizen Party, Hasnat Abdullah, joint convener of the southern region, Dr. Tasnim Zara, and others also spoke.

Also present at the event were National Citizen Party member secretary Akhter Hossain, chief coordinator Nasiruddin Patwari, joint coordinator Abdul Hannan Masud, Samantha Sharmin, Ariful Islam Adeeb, member Nahida Sarwar Nibha, district student coordinator Arafat Hoson, and leaders and activists from different parts of the district.
