BSF has sent 21 people to Bangladesh through Netrakona border

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has sent 21 people to Bangladesh through the border of Durgapur upazila of the district. Out of these, 19 are transgenders and 2 are men.
The detainees are from Dhaka, Chatragram, Rajbari, Patuakhali, Moulvibazar, Jamalpur, Tangail, Brahmanbaria and other districts.
They were pushed through the Bijoypur border in Durgapur of the district at around 5 am on Thursday, said Lieutenant Colonel ASM Kamruzzaman, commander of Netrokona 31 BGB.
He said that while patrolling the border, the BGB arrested 21 people who were pushed by the BSF in the Arapara area inside Bangladesh, about 100 yards from 1148/4 S of Bijoypur BOP.
After identifying the detainees, the process of handing them over to Durgapur police station is underway.
It is worth noting that this is the third time that the Indian BSF has forcibly sent about 64 people from different districts of the country to Bangladesh in connection with the push-in incident.
