Awards were distributed in other categories, including the best police station in the district, considering the monthly welfare meeting and performance of the Moulvibazar District Police. The monthly welfare meeting was held at the Police Lines Drill Shed on Wednesday (July 9) at 8:30 am. The meeting was presided over by District Superintendent of Police M.K.H. Jahangir Hossain, PPM, Services. The monthly welfare meeting, moderated by Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Ajmal Hossain, discussed various proposals from police members working in various police stations, outposts and other units of the district police and the progress of the proposals raised in the previous month’s welfare meeting. Later, awards were distributed in other categories, including the best police station in the district, considering the performance in the month of June 2025. Abu Zafar Md. Mahfuzul Kabir of Kamalganj Police Station was selected as the best officer-in-charge for the month of June. Besides, Md. Mahbubur Rahman Molla, Officer-in-Charge of Baralekha Police Station, received a special award for uncovering the theft incident at the Baralekha temple and arresting the accused. In addition, special awards were given to the LIC, Crime Branch, and Police Control Room of the police office. The in-charges of all the police stations and units in the district, including other officials, were present at the time.
