Mobile court sentences CNG autorickshaw driver arrested for hitting policeman and fleeing jail for one month

On Wednesday, April 23, a mobile court was conducted in Baluchhara, Chittagong, under the leadership of Executive Magistrate Mickey Marma of Court-13 under the BRTA, Chittagong Divisional Office, from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

A fine of Tk 7,000 was imposed in 5 cases during the drive. The mobile court sentenced one driver to one month in jail, including one for dumping a CNG-powered autorickshaw.

It is to be noted that the convicted driver, while conducting the drive, ignored the signal of the mobile court and tried to escape by driving a three-wheeler at a reckless speed by hitting the police force on duty.
