Although 6 months have passed since the popular uprising of July-August, dictatorships and their allies are still active in different parts of the country. They have continued their anarchy and efforts to destabilize the country in different parts of the country.

A mass rally was organized by Chhatra Shibir Chittagong to protest all these things and demand justice for those involved in the July massacre including disappearances, murders, corruption and all anti-state activities of the fascist government.
Today, January 31, after Jumah prayers, the procession, led by Tauhidul Haque Mizbah, the Central Finance Secretary of the Chattogram Police Department, started from the Andarkilla Shahi Jame Mosque in Chittagong, circled various roads and ended with a short rally at the New Market intersection in the city.

At a short rally after the procession, Towhidul Haque Mejbah said that the Awami League-Chhatra League, which has committed as many massacres and attempted to establish one-party rule and dictatorial power from 1972 to 2024, no longer have the moral right to do politics in this country.
Addressing the interim government, he said that the dictator Hasina and all the murderers of July-August must be brought to justice quickly.

Among others, Chhatrashibir Central Madrasa Secretary Alauddin Abir, Chittagong Metropolitan North President Tanjir Hossein Jewel, Metropolitan South President Ibrahim Hossain Rony, and Chittagong University President Mohammad Ibrahim also spoke.
Central Madrasa Secretary Alauddin Abir said that if mass murderer Hasina and her accomplices cannot be brought to justice quickly, the students will not stay at home. They will take to the streets like in July-August.
Metropolitan North Chhatra Shibir President Tanjir Hossain Jewel said that Chhatra League will not be able to conduct any political activities in this country without facing the nation’s forgiveness and trial for the genocide it committed in July-August.

CU President Mohammad Ibrahim said that the nation has not yet forgotten the extent of genocide committed by Chhatra League. But a political group is trying to rehabilitate them. Such a despicable attempt will not be possible in Bangladesh.

Chittagong Metropolitan South Chhatra Shibir President said, addressing the administration, we have information that you are trying to rehabilitate them in this country by colluding with tyranny. As part of that, they have shown the courage to hold processions at places like GEC intersection in the city. Arrest them immediately and bring them under the law. Otherwise, the student population will be forced to take to the field against you.

Also present at the event were CU Student Union Secretary Muhammad Ali, Metropolitan North Secretary Mominul Haque, Organizing Secretary Khurram Murad, Metropolitan South Student Union Secretary Maimunul Islam Mamun, along with thousands of leaders, activists and general students.
