In fact, the murder of the anti-discrimination movement did not take place. Calling the case false and conspiratorial, Jubo Dal Central Joint General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain said that if a case is filed against the leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates while hiding the real accused, action will be taken against them. Former Joint Organizing Secretary of Rupganj Upazila Md. Former Organizing Secretary of Bhulta Union Jahangir Molla, the uncle of the deceased, said in an interview on various television channels on August 1 that the terrorists killed his nephew Jihad. And his grandfather Awlad Hossain said that Sumi’s tenant Naeem killed Jisan over a land issue. 28 people, including the previous two, have been charged 1 month and 10 days after Jisan’s murder. All BNP leaders and activists of Rupganj participated in the student-public movement. “They played a leading role in the fall of the fascist government. I don’t understand how all those BNP leaders and activists are being made defendants in this case filed.”
Earlier, on Tuesday, July 30, at 8 pm, 10/12 friends were hanging out near Sikder’s house. At the instigation of friends Ankan and Zahirul, Jisan suddenly stabbed his friend Naeem with a knife. Then all the friends hugged the two and reconciled. Some time later, at 8:30 pm, Jisan rushed to kill Naeem again. The killer Naeem stabbed Jisan repeatedly and fled. Immediately, their friend Saikat Ankan and Zahirul took him to a private hospital in Murapara, where the doctor on duty referred him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. When he was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital that night, the doctor declared him dead. Md. Bachchu Mia, the police in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on duty at that time, confirmed the news of Jisan’s death.
Nayeem and his father Kamal are the first accused in the case filed by the deceased Jisan’s father Alamgir Mollah on Wednesday, July 31, in the case of the murder of Towhidul Alam Jisan (21). The then Assistant Superintendent of Police Habibur Rahman said that Jisan was killed over a land deal.
