The body of an unidentified youth (32) wrapped in a plastic bag has been recovered in Monohardi, Narsingdi. The body was recovered from under the Dighakandi-Sanmania bridge in Shukundi union of the upazila on Tuesday morning. According to police and local sources, local people saw the body with its face tied in a plastic bag under the Dighakandi-Sanmania bridge in Shukundi union. At that time, local people informed the Monohardi police station. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot and recovered the wrapped body. The identity of the body could not be identified till the time of writing this report. Sub-Inspector (SI) of Monohardi police station Mehedi Hasan said, we recovered the body from the spot after receiving the information through the call of local people and emergency services on 999. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Monohardi police station Md. Abdul Jabbar said, the identity of the deceased has not been found yet. However, further action will be taken in this regard as per the law.
