Many boys had to give their lives. If we really want to put this sacrifice to good use, let us pay tribute to these sacrifices and build a new Bangladesh again.
Dhaka College alumnus and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said these words at the Dhaka College Reunion program at Dhali Ambar Nibas Resort in Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj on Friday afternoon.
He also said, let us all forget jealousy and division and take the new Bangladesh forward. We have come a long way, we have to go a long way. I believe that Dhaka College has led the way, and the time has come for Dhaka College to lead in terms of merit.
The day-long event organized by Dhaka College on Friday was chaired by Dhaka College alumni, convener of the event and BNP Central Committee Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, and was also attended by Dhaka College alumni journalist Shafiq Rehman, Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur, Home Affairs and Agriculture Advisor Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Gano Sanghati Andolan Chairman Junaid Saki and many others. The event concluded with a cultural program later in the night.
