Residents of Protenga say that they are afraid to go out on the road, where it used to take 15 minutes to walk, now it takes an hour to go by car, on the other hand, all the sidewalks are in the possession of hawkers, previously the sidewalks were in the possession of Awami League extortionists, now these sidewalks are in the possession of those who are trying to come to power in the future. The fear of death haunts us constantly.

The violence of illegal auto-rickshaws has increased on the roads, these vehicles are roaming the highways, in this regard, a discussion was held with an official of the Patenga Traffic (TI) about the way out, he told the Morning Glory reporter that I need 14 people here and now I have to handle this area with only 2 people. However, he assured that he will soon be in a strong position due to the movement of illegal vehicles.

On the other hand, no one, especially the district administration, Chittagong City Corporation, and the higher authorities of the Traffic Department, have made any statement regarding the parking by occupying the road and the unplanned truck depot without the permission of the authorities.
