Jamaat-e-Islami has always stood by needy and helpless—Shahjahan Chowdhury
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee Member, Chittagong Metropolitan Ameer and former MP Shahjahan Chowdhury said that Jamaat-e-Islami has always stood by the needy and helpless. In continuation of that, Jamaat is distributing winter clothes by standing by the cold-stricken people.
He called on everyone to gather under the flag of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, an organization engaged in the struggle to establish a society based on justice and fairness.
Shahjahan Chowdhury said these words as the chief guest at the winter clothes program held on December 24 (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of Dewanbazar Ward Ameer Advocate Anwar Sadat.
Among others who spoke at the event were Kotwali Police Station Ameer Amir Hossain, Nayeb Ameer Professor Abduz Zaher, Police Station Secretary Mostaq Ahmed, Police Station Working Committee Member Mohammad Nazim Uddin, Dewanbazar Ward Assistant Secretary Maulana Azizul Haque, Ward Working Committee Members Abdul Matin, Mohammad Hossain, lawyer Zaisanul haque (Lohagora) and others.
