CDBA held a workshop for trainee lawyers training “2024”

Trainee lawyer Golam Mustafa recited from the Holy Quran, trainee lawyer Subarna Barua recited the Gita and Tripitaka. It was held on December 24 at the auditorium of the Bar Association.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Kazi Shahidul Islam, (CJM) was present as the chief guest. He said — The entire process of human life is a learning process. In addition he said that lawyers have to be superhuman and super responsible. Here, they have to earn and learn. The more they learn, the more they earn. He welcomed everyone to come to this noble profession.
In his inaugural speech, the newly appointed Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kazi Mizanur Rahman (CMM) said — Addressing the trainee lawyers, you are the ones who are entitled to good fortune. He said that one should not lose courage on this path, he informed the lawyers as social engineers. He wished the trainee lawyers all the best.
In the welcoming speech, Advocate Mohammad Ashraf Hossain Chowdhury Razzak, General Secretary of Chittagong District Bar Association, introduced everyone and concluded the speech. In his last speech, he addressed the trainee lawyers, “The world of law is a vast ocean. After practicing for 26 years, he is still in the wilderness. Now, you have to work hard, there is no alternative to practice and study to go deeper.”
Chittagong Bar Association President Advocate Nazim Uddin Chowdhury presided over the distribution of new ID cards to a large group of trainee lawyers and arranged lunch.
Before distributing the ID cards for the workshop, the president said that we are fortunate to have two judges together. He also said that if you have honesty, concentration, you can be successful in your career. At one point, he encouraged the lawyers by narrating his past experience to his trainee Kalini.
Advocate Zia Habib was also present. He organized an interesting question-and-answer session. In this, the newcomers got an idea about many unknown things. He said, “Once upon a time, there was a High Court bench in Chittagong, which is now Maa-O-Shishu  Hospital,”
The closing speech of the meeting was delivered by the chief guest of the 2nd phase of this program, A.S.M Badrul Anwar, Member of Bangladesh Bar Council, He is one of ex president of CDBA also. He said that one should always be with the principles. In a guiding speech, he said, “Society is not destroyed because of bad people, it is destroyed because of the silence of good people”.
Reputation of Chittagong lawyers is appreciated all over the country, he expressed his efforts to continue this trend.
Members of the bar and senior Advocate were also present at the event, who informed the trainee lawyers about various details and etiquette.
