Drug dealers were arrested in a raid by the Chittagong Metropolitan Detective (North and South) Division. Two individual successful raid done according for secret information.

Under the overall guidance of Chittagong Metropolitan Detective (North and South) Division Deputy Police Commissioner Md. Mostafizur Rahman, under the supervision of Assistant Police Commissioner Mostafa Kamal, Police Inspector Md. Sharif, with the help of the accompanying officer-force, conducted a raid in the Mohra Kamal Bazar area under Chandgaon Police Station at 1:50 PM on December 18 based on a secret information and arrested drug dealers Sohel (26) & Maruf (21) with 2,000 pieces of Yaba.

In addition, on December 19, at 10:30 am, on the basis of a secret information, Inspector Mohammad Israfil Majumdar of the same division, with the help of the accompanying officer-force, conducted a raid at Jasim Bhaban located in Hajipara Membergali under Doublemooring Police Station and arrested Abdul drug dealer Aziz surname Sohel (35) with 1,300 pieces of Yaba.

Separate cases have been registered against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act, 2018 at Chandgaon and Doublemooring Police Stations
