Martyred Intellectuals Day discussion meeting organized by the Chittagong Press Club Interim Committee in memory of the intellectuals who were brutally murdered two days before the victory in the great liberation war in 1971 has been concluded.

Discussion meeting held at the VIP lounge of Chittagong Press Club at 12 noon on Saturday (December 14) was presided over by the member secretary of the club’s interim committee, Jahidul Karim Kochi.
Chittagong Press Club member Shahnewaz Riton moderated the discussion, and senior member of Chittagong Press Club and freedom fighter Moinuddin Qaderi Shawkat, club management committee member and Dainik Kaler Kanthe Buro chief  Mustafa Nayem, press club members Md. Shahidul Islam, Saifullah Chowdhury.
BSS Chittagong Bureau Chief and Chittagong Metropolitan Journalists Union President Mohammad Shahnawaz, General Secretary Saleh Noman and others spoke as guests.

During the event, speakers called for the formation of an independent commission to uncover the identities of those involved in the killings on this brutal and tragic day in history.
