Seven motorcycle drivers was Tk 1,400 fined for violating various road transport laws at Jalalpur area of Nakla upazila of Sherpur on Thursday afternoon. Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Jewel Mia leaded the mobile court.

The fines were imposed in 7 cases for violating various sections of the Road Transport Act 2018 against vehicles that were over speeding, having additional passengers, without a driving license, without vehicles fitness, without helmets and registration.

According to court sources, a total of Tk 1,400 was fined at 200 taka per person as a warning. Police officer and constable of Nakla police station, official of Nakla AC Land office, journalists of different media and many more locals were present.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Jewel Mia said that such mobile court operations will continue in the interest of vehicles and goods.
