A child died after being crushed by a truck carrying bricks in Noakhali’s Companyganj. The deceased Saifa Akhtar (3) is the daughter of Noor Amin of Ward No. 6 of Muchapur Union of Upazila. This incident happened on the road of Muchapur Union of the upazila around noon on Thursday (November 21).
Companiganj police station officer-in-charge (OC) Gazi Muhammad Fauzul Azim said, the truck and the driver are in police custody. Legal action will be taken based on the complaint of the deceased’s family.
