After Zia’s family—My family is the most tortured: Ghiyas Uddin Quader Chowdhury
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Vice Chairman Ghiyas Uddin has responded to the show cause notice (show cause notice) issued to Quader Chowdhury by the party. Giyas Uddin Quader Chowdhury responded to BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Thursday (November 7).
In this he mentioned, I received your condolence message issued on November 5 through WhatsApp. I am obliged to answer despite being under treatment abroad. I, my family and well wishers are pained by the notice received in view of the complaint of the said applicant.
He said, I consider the matters mentioned in the complaint to be a vile ploy to humiliate me and my family in front of the public. The allegations are completely baseless, fabricated and motivated by mala fide motives.
He also mentioned that I have not given up on the party even after the Awami Roshanal for the past 17 years. I have successfully completed all the programs of the party by ignoring the bloodshed of the terrorists. I was on the side of BNP and its organizations, including the victims of cases and attacks by Awami terrorists and the burial of martyred leaders and activists.
The BNP leader said in reference to the torture inflicted on him, “It is universally accepted that my family has suffered the most torture after the Zia family in the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. Even after that, I am holding Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP in my heart. The fallen dictatorship and its cronies, unable to resist me politically, consider this kind of propaganda against me as their last weapon. I will call all the party leaders and workers through you to be aware and united against such conspiracies.
Ghiyas Uddin Quader Chowdhury said, “I want to say unequivocally that there is no opportunity to denigrate or question the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) or go beyond the decision of the party’s high command. Someone has given false information about me or my family to the party high command for their personal gain. I have full confidence in the leadership of the Nationalist Party.
Earlier, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Central Vice Chairman Giyas Uddin Quader Chowdhury was given a show cause notice by the party for various allegations including the attack on the house of the Awami League leader in Raujan Upazila of Chittagong.
The notice was given in a letter signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Joint Secretary General of the party on Tuesday (November 5). He was given three working days to reply.
However, there has been an adverse reaction among the leaders and activists of BNP in Chittagong and Raujan Upazila regarding the matter mentioned in the condolence notice. The people of the party also claimed that BNP leader Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury had no involvement with the matter mentioned in the show cause notice.
