Seven people of the same family, including a child, are sick after consuming deworming medicine.

In Durgapur of Netrakona, 7 people of the same family, including a child, fell ill after consuming worm medicine given by Kaviraj. After that, when they were taken to the Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty referred them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital as their condition was alarming.
The incident happened on Friday (November 01) morning in Kuralia village of Kullagara union of the upazila. They are Farooq Mia (35), Kamrun Nahar (30), Rabia Begum (60), Husna Ara (65) and Mujahid (9), Ikra (7), Ilma (3) of the same family.
The relatives said that worm medicine was brought from a Kaviraj of Vijaypur village yesterday. This morning everyone simultaneously fainted immediately after eating on an empty stomach. At this time, when the family members screamed, the surrounding people rushed and took them to Durgapur Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty saw their condition as dangerous and referred them to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
