To make the state-owned sugar mills of Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industry Corporation (BSFIC) profitable and up-to-date, the officials-employees of the Joypurhat Sugar Mill have formed a human chain  demanding the inclusion of the agriculture department of the sugar industry in the revenue sector.
This human chain was made in front of the main gate of Joypurhat Sugar Mills today at 11:30 am on Thursday (03 October).
Joypurhat Sugar Mill Managing Director Agronomist Akhlasur Rahman, Manager (Agriculture) Tarek Farhad, Sugar Mills’ Employees Union President Ali Aktar, General Secretary Ahsan Habib Rumel, CBA leader Khairul Islam, Zahidul Islam, Mohammad Ali, Murad Parvez and others spoke, among others.
