Zero tolerance policy against corruption declared by Environment Advisor

Zero tolerance policy against corruption has been announced by Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Advisor of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. She said that if any official of the Department of Environment and Forest shows any kind of corruption, irregularity and negligence for environmental and forest conservation and development, exemplary legal action will be taken against them. She also said that the forest of the country should be kept like a forest and the concerned officials should be dedicated to the improvement of the quality of the country’s environment.
The Environment Adviser said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the first visit to the Forest Department and an exchange meeting with the officials on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier in the morning, she visited the Department of Environment and interacted with the officials.
