Bandarban Army Zone provided humanitarian assistance to those affected by the disaster

Bandarban Army Zone has provided humanitarian assistance to those affected by the rain calamity.The aid was distributed at the Bandarban Army Zone ground on Saturday (July 6).150 families living in low-lying areas affected by continuous rains were given food items as humanitarian aid on this day.Bandarban Army Zone Commander Lt. Col. ASM Mahmudul Hasan,PSC handed over food items to the helpless poor people.

Deputy Commander Major Mia Mohammad Mehedi Hasan,PSC,Zonal Staff Officer Captain Sabit Noor Rashid were present.
Volunteers and beneficiaries were also present.Each aid packate contained 2 kg of chira,500 g of dates,1 kg of molasses,2 liters of water,3 packets of noodles,500 g of biscuits,5 of saline.

Lt. Col. ASM Mahmudul Hasan,PSC,Zone Commander of Bandarban Army Zone in the humanitarian aid program said, Bandarban Army Zone under 24 Infantry Division has been working tirelessly for peace, order and prosperity in the remote areas of the hilly areas.Today’s humanitarian aid program is a continuation of that.The army zone will stand by the affected public at any moment during heavy rains and natural calamities.

The Zone Commander also said that Bandarban Army Zone will conduct such philanthropic activities in the future as well.
Note that last Thursday (July 4) Bandarban Army Region provided food aid to 308 affected families.

Incidentally,Bandarban Army Region is working tirelessly to maintain the trend of peace,harmony and development with the motto of my country-my life.Also, Bangladesh Army’s Bandarban Army Region is conducting various humanitarian assistance programs to improve the quality of life of all ethnic groups living in Bandarban district.
