4 students of class 10 of Victoria are the best in the study of ‘cultivation of thought’

‘Thought Cultivation’ is a research activity by school students on various topics. Students research and propose solutions on various topics including science, health and environment, agricultural economics, social problems, education, life and culture.

Yesterday Thursday (September 29) Dhaka University’s Student-Teacher Center (TSC) Auditorium organized the ‘7th Chintar Chhasha Khude Researcher Conference 2022’ on ‘Comparative evaluation of the nutritional quality of local cow and farm cow’s milk’ – Srimangal won the best place in the country as the champion in this research. 4 meritorious students of class 10 of Victoria High School, a traditional educational institution. They are the universally loved Bhattacharya Kavya, Nirjhar Dev, Zubair Al Arabian and Vishal Roy.

Expressing his sentiments, Vishwapriya Bhattacharya Kavya said, We all know that native cows are more nutritious than farm cows. But there was no scientific explanation and evidence. We have been able to prove this scientifically through research. We are very happy that our research has been recognized and awarded nationally. This glorious achievement is not personal to us, it belongs to our beloved Victoria High School and the people of Srimangal.

Planning Minister M. A. Mannan was present at the Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium of Bangla Academy as the chief guest during the award ceremony. The former governor of Bangladesh Bank. Saleh Uddin Ahmed, former education secretary. Nazrul Islam Khan, UGC Professor of Biochemistry and Microbiology Department of Dhaka University. Hasina Khan was present as special guest. At the prize distribution ceremony, Planning Minister MA Mannan said, We applaud such initiatives for the intellectual development of our children and adolescents. Students need to be more science minded. There is no substitute for skills in information and communication technology in building digital Bangladesh.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the day-long program as the chief guest in the morning.

At that time, the Dean of Biology Faculty of Dhaka University was present on the stage as a special guest. AKM Mahbub Hasan, Professor of Clinical Psychology. Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman and the chairman of the pharmacy department Prof. Dr. Feroze Ahmed. Advocate Muhammad Shafiqur Rahman, chairman of Chintar Chasha, presided over the event.
Ayan Chowdhury, head teacher of Victoria High School said, three teams from our school qualified to participate in the final stage. Out of this, a class 10 team became the champion. I am very happy about it. To the 4 members of that team I extend my sincere love, congratulations and thanks from the bottom of my heart. It is a great achievement, especially the students of Victoria School have got the opportunity to hold their pride among the students of the best schools of the country by presenting their research papers in a big place like Dhaka University. This achievement belongs to everyone associated with Victoria School.

SM Mesbah, executive director of Chintar Chasha, said, “Thought Cultivation” organizes such activities with the aim of developing the innovative power and creativity of children in establishing an intellectual society. More than three hundred selected students of seventh to tenth grade from different schools across the country participated in the day-long conference. Collectively they presented 122 oral and poster presentations and 5 concept papers. Research papers and posters were evaluated by renowned researchers and scientists of the country.
