In the Barabil area of Gorznia Union, known as the Ramur crime zone of Cox’s Bazar, there has been another murder due to the dominance of 2 terrorist groups. This incident took place in the clash between terrorist Alamgir group and another terrorist Karim Maulvi group of Eidgarh area at 1.30 pm on May 9. Abul Kashem (39) of Alamgir group was shot and died on the spot.

Jonaid, a resident of Barabil area and relative of the deceased Abul Kashem, said that there were several incidents of bloodshed in recent times.

Deceased Abul Kashem is son of late Ali Ahmed. The police have sent the body to the mortuary of the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem.
