To mark the ‘Historic Mujib Nagar Day’ Joypurhat district administration organized different programs with due dignity on April 17.
On this occasion, a colorful rally was brought out in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office at 11:30 am on Wednesday. The rally paraded the main roads of Joypurhat town.
After the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner. The meeting was highlighting the significance and importance of the day. With the Deputy Commissioner Salehin Tanveer Gazi in the chair, the meeting was addressed, among others, by Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman and District Awami League Vice President SM Solaiman Ali, Additional Superintendent of Police Ishtiaq Alam, and District Muktijoddha Sangsad commander Bir Muktijodha Amjad Hossain.
