Checks of Tk 2 crore seventy three lakh twenty eight thousand seven hundred and teenty eight have been handed over to 9 landowners affected by land acquisition in Bandarban.Checks were distributed to the affected landowners at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room on Wednesday (March 27).

Bandarban Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin appeared as the chief guest and handed over checks to the affected land owners.Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Umme Kulsoom,Revenue Deputy Collector (RDC) Arup Ratan Singh along with land owners were present.

At the check distribution ceremony,Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin said, “Today we handed over MICR checks to nine people.Other applications which are under process,we will complete the official process of these applications quickly.On this day,9 residents of different upazilas of the district received LA checks as victims of land acquisition.
