Police Memorial Day was celebrated in Bandarban with due dignity.This Police Memorial Day was celebrated by Bandarban District Police at Bandarban Police Lines Ground on Saturday.A temporary Martyr’s Altar was constructed at the Police Lines field for the members of the police who sacrificed their lives for the country’s public safety,law and order,safety of people and property for the motherland and protecting the sovereignty of freedom. This Police Memorial Day is celebrated by laying wreaths at the altar.Superintendent of Police Shaikat shahin paid deep respect by offering wreaths at the beginning.

Later,in-service Commandant (Superintendent of Police) Wahidul Haque Chowdhury of Police Line gave the wreath respectively.after that Various senior officers of the police and members of the Armed Police Battalion paid their respects by giving wreaths.As part of the day celebrations,a discussion meeting was held at the Police Lines Hallroom.

Meanwhile,1 minute silence was observed to pay respect to the memory of the members of the police who sacrificed their lives while working in the police force. Tourist Police Superintendent of Police Mohammad Manjur Morshed,Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Hossain Mohammad Raihan Kazemi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Abdul Karim and various officers and members of the police of Bandarban district were present.
