Farewell to the 2023 Executive Committee of Chapainawabganj District Lawyers Association and the swearing in of the newly-elected Executive Committee for 2024 has been completed.

On Monday (March 4) afternoon, the adjuration taking ceremony was held in the hall room of the District Bar Association.

Chief Election Commissioner Abdul Hamid read the adjuration to all the newly elected members. District lawyers were present on the occasion.

Earlier, the election was held in two panels last Sunday (February 25).

Nazmul Azam president and Ekramul Haque Pintu contested for the post of general secretary in the Combined Lawyers Coordination Council nominated panel and Solaiman Bishu and Tohurul Islam Pintu contested for the post of president and general secretary in the nomination of the Combined Lawyers Unity Panel.

President Solaiman Bishu was elected privately. On the other hand, Ekramul Haque Pintu was elected as General Secretary.

In this election, 8 people including the president were elected from the Combined Lawyers Unity Panel and 5 people including the general secretary were elected from the nominated panel of the Combined Lawyers Coordination council.
