Chapainawabganj District Lawyers Association Executive Committee Election-2024 has been completed. In the election, Solaiman Bishu was elected as the President of the Lawyers’ Unity Panel and Tahurul Islam Pintu as the General Secretary of the Lawyers’ Coordination Council. Election Commissioner Advocate Abdul Hamid announced the result after the election.

On Sunday evening, the district attorney announced the election results at the office of the Association. Abdul Hamid said that there were a total of 24 candidates in two panels in the District Bar Association elections. Among them, Md Solaiman Bishu was elected as president after getting 100 votes. His nearest rival Nazmul Azam got 98 votes.

Besides, Ekramul Haque Pintu won the post of general secretary by getting 108 votes and his nearest rival candidate Tahurul Islam Pintu got 95 votes.

He said that senior vice president Abdus Sattar (1) was selected and Imrul Kayes was selected as executive member through lottery from Nazmul-Ekramul panel.

Meanwhile, 8 people have been selected from the Bishu-Tohrul panel. They are President Solaiman Bishu, Assistant General Secretary Tasibur Rahman, Finance Secretary Masir Ali, Library Secretary Noore Alam Siddiqui (Asad), Cultural Secretary Zaheer Zaman (Johnny), Executive Members Abul Kalam Azad, Mainul Islam Antar and Tanveer Ahmed Siddiqui.
