Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has announced that businesses and residential buildings will be fined if they throw waste everywhere Rezaul Karim Chowdhury.

The mayor made the announcement while inaugurating the month-long dry season soil dredging program near Bahaddarhat Police Box on Thursday (February 1).

The mayor said that the evacuation operation will be conducted to reduce the waterlogging. we have sat with the various organizations concerned. We will also demolish all the shops and houses that are illegally built on the canals and footpaths.

Councilor M Ashraful Alam, Councilor Esrarul Haque, Chasik Chief Cleaning Officer Commander Latiful Haque Kazmi, Chief Engineer Rafiqul Islam Manik, Executive Engineer Touhidul Islam were present.
