In CMP HQ preparatory meeting of the National Commodity Transport Committee was held

27 November preparatory meeting of the National Goods Transport Committee was held at Dampara Police Lines Headquarters conference room in the port city. CMP Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, the CMP Commissioner directed all concerned departments to maintain order on the roads in Chittagong metropolitan area, issue route permits, driving licenses and registrations as per the rules and take necessary measures against unfit traffic and additional fare collection.
There were CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) MA Masud; Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) AS M Mahtab Uddin, Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Mr. Abdul Mannan Mia, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Mr. Md. Abdul Warish (promoted to the post of Additional DIG) and senior officers of CMP. Representatives of various organizations were present.
