People of Chittagong witnessed such scandalous incident in a place called Dhumpara under Patenga police station of the port city.
The grieving father is distraught after losing his five-month-old daughter, when she dies, she has to be buried..!
Usually there is a community committee in the neighborhood, this community committee has various social activities. The members of these committees are charitable individuals. There are numerous examples of them donating their property to various works including mosques, ponds, graveyards, schools, in return for which they considered human service as a part of religious work, seeking peace.

Currently, it can be seen that their descendants have started a different style of this style. Even if some news comes in the media, many events are covered up.

When a child died at a place called Dhumpara in Patenga on Monday, when the child’s father was busy digging a grave in Mr. Raihan’s family cemetery (local called baitur rahomot koborstan) for burial, the said committee president Shamsu & Faruk publicly demanded fifty thousand taka.

When demanded a donation from victim Shahadat Hossain, he asked for the receipt of this donation, but there was a problem. Shahadat Hossain said I will give the money, I have to give the receipt of the money. That time they wanted to jump on him and hurt him by hitting him with a hand paw. Father Shahadat Hossain was already wounded by the loss of his daughter Tahiya, who brought light to the house.

Shamimul Haque Raihan, the cemetery owner, told The daily Morning Glory that he had heard of extortion for burials in the cemetery before, but after yesterday’s incident, he was convinced that he would take legal action against these extortionists. He said they can’t show or do anything to bury the people of the mosque committee in the cemetery. Demanding money for actual burial is a heinous criminal offense amounting to open extortion.

Meanwhile, when Samshu was asked about taking money from the phone, he said, “I am not obliged to answer anything to the journalist,” and disconnected the connection. After that no connection was found.

Local people say that Shamshu, Farooq, Abdul Hamid have been doing this extortion for a long time. No one complains and accepts silently so they have made it a business.

Later, Tahiya-Tahi’s father Shahadat Hossain said his last goodbye to his daughter in the cemetery located next to Baitur Rehmat Jame Masjid by the help of local people.
