About 30 thousand people including 80 families of Ardashgram, 130 landless-homeless families under Ashrayan-2 project travel through this road.
Chandu Sheikh, a resident of Ardash village, said that the road was broken by the flood water. Now we have to pay 10 taka for boat rental. God knows how long this pain will last. Malti Rani said, Hamghar Ardash village, we started the current thiki just now. But the road is not done in Hamghar. It will break every time there is a flood. There is no end to the suffering in Hamghar. Going back and forth three or four times before, now before I finish the whole day’s work.
Chairman of the project committee and member of UP Jihadur Rahman said that the road of Ardash village has been made through the middle of the river. Two bridges have been constructed between about half a kilometer of the road. It is repaired every year. But the road was destroyed during the flood.
