Sunamganj Representative/

Three people have died due to lightning in Sunamganj. They died in Bishwambharpur and Dirai upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

Locals said that at 10:30 am on Saturday morning, the workers were working to lift sand in the Dhopajan Chalati river in Salukabad Union of Biswambharpur Upazila. At that time, Selim Mia and Zainal Mia of Jinarpur village died due to lightning. Apart from this, Abdul Malek Haure of Shyamarchar village of Dirai Upazila died due to lightning while fishing.

Chairman of Salukabad Union Parishad (UP). Noor Alam Siddiqui said, two people died due to lightning in my area. The matter has been reported to the police.
