A stakeholder meeting on sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence prevention response services was held in Noakhali.
The meeting was organized at the hall room of Nice Guest House in the district town of Maijdi on Tuesday night.
The meeting was addressed by UNFPA Bangladesh Representative Catherine Brin Kamkong, Noakhali Civil Surgeon Dr. Mariam Simi, Superintendent of the 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital Dr. Md. Farid Uddin, etc.

The speakers at the meeting emphasized the importance of providing quality maternal and reproductive health services including antenatal care, cervical cancer screening, prevention of obstetric fistula and response to gender-based violence and supporting the strengthening of high-quality CEMONC services that are operational 24 hours a day at the 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital.
