Blankets have been distributed among 500 needy people under the initiative of Chapainawabganj District Committee of NGO Federation (FNB) consisting of non-governmental development organizations. Blankets were distributed at the head office premises of the RSDF organization in Arambag area of the district town on Monday.

Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mst Tashmina Khatun distributed these blankets as the chief guest. She said that the poor families are suffering from unbearable conditions during severe winter.

Deputy Director of District Social Services Department, Mst Umme Kulsoom was the special guest on the occasion.

NGO Federation (FNB) district committee president and RSDF executive director Manjurul Islam Babu Khan presided over it.
