Upazila administration exchange of views with minority ethnic communities in Srimangal

In 45 tea gardens in Srimangale Upazila of Moulvibazar, Munda, Santal, Urao, Lohar, Kharia, Ganju, Mahali, Bhumiz, Kanda and other caste groups. In addition, Srimangal Upazila administration is working to improve the quality of life of the minority ethnic communities living in 12 Khasia Punji, 10 Garo villages, 2 Manipuri villages and 4 Tripura villages.
On Sunday (September 3), Srimangal upazila administration held an exchange of views with these communities.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Bhanulal Roy was present as the chief guest in the exchange meeting under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun. Assistant Commissioner (ACland) Sandhip Talukder, Women Vice Chairman Mitali Dutta, Upazila Administrative Officer Mrinal Kanti Dutta and others were present as special guests. Also, members of minority ethnic groups families were present in the discussion meeting.
