Police have arrested a girl named Payal on the charge of raping a three-and-a-half-year-old child in Gobindganj, Gaibandhar.

According to the complaint and local sources, a day laborer and his wife of Jagannathpur Bajidpur village of Kochashahar Union of the upazila left their 3 and a half year old daughter at home on Thursday while staying outside the house in search of livelihood, Payal, son of Zahidul Islam of the neighboring house, lured the baby girl to his house and grabbed her face. Forced rape. When the child started bleeding, he left the child on the street outside the house and ran away. Later, the neighbors saw the child lying down, rescued him and took him home and informed his parents. On receiving this news, the child’s parents took the child to the Gobindganj Upazila Health Complex with the help of the villagers. Due to excessive bleeding of the child, the doctor on duty referred him to Bogra Shajimek Hospital for better treatment. When the poor child’s parents were leaving for Bogra for better treatment, the father and mother of the accused Kishore Payal blocked the way in Phansitala area. Including sitting in Mimansa and pressure for treatment at the local clinic. At one point, with the help of locals, the child was admitted to Bogra Shajimek Hospital. A complaint was filed at Gobindganj police station in this incident. On Saturday afternoon Gobindganj Thana Police conducted a raid and arrested the accused Payal.

On Sunday, the officer in charge (OC) of Gobindganj police station Shamchul Alam Shah confirmed the matter to CNBangladesh and said that the accused Payal will be handed over to the court on Sunday.
