BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir went to the hospital to see the President of Public Rights Council Nurul Haque Noor who was injured in the Chhatra League attack.

He visited Noor at Ayesha Memorial Hospital in the capital on Thursday afternoon. Mirza Fakhrul inquired about his physical condition.

At this time Mirza Fakhrul was accompanied by Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Convener Abdus Salam, BNP Publicity Secretary Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Social Welfare Affairs Secretary Kamruzzaman Ratan, Executive Committee Member Nazim Uddin Alam and others were present.

Incidentally, People’s Rights Council President Nurul Haque Noor was attacked next to Raju Bhaskarya of Dhaka University (DU) TSC. This incident happened on Wednesday around 4:30 pm. It has been alleged that all the attackers are leaders and activists of Dhaka University Chhatra League. However, Chhatra League denied the allegations.
