9 people have died due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours in the country. At the same time, another 2,292 people were admitted to the hospital. A total of 176 people died of dengue this year.

The Health Directorate has given this information in a press release sent to the media on Sunday.

At present, a total of 7 thousand 175 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. Among them 3 thousand 26 people outside Dhaka.

This year, a total of 32 thousand 977 people were admitted to hospital due to dengue fever, of which 19 thousand 569 people were admitted in the first 20 days of July alone.

According to the data of the Department of Health, the total number of deaths from dengue last year was 281 people and the total number of infected people was 62 thousand 382 people. 23 thousand 162 people were from outside Dhaka.
