The body of the missing tourist in Jaflong was recovered after two days

The body of the tourist who went missing in the river after coming to the tourist area of Sylhet Jaflong was recovered after two days.
On Saturday (08 July) morning, the police recovered the body from the zero point area of Payine river. After the recovery of the dead body, a report was prepared. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gowainghat Police Station KM Nazrul Islam has confirmed that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family after the legal process.
Incidentally, after the disappearance, a joint rescue operation was conducted by police, BGB and fire service. Al-Waz Arsh (15), a teenage tourist, drowned and went missing when the strong current washed away him at zero point of Payain river at 3.30pm on Thursday (July 06). Arsh is the son of police inspector Jahedul Hossain, a resident of Shidlai village of Bramanpara police station in Comilla district and a 9th grade student of Dhaka’s Residential Model School and College.
