Putin should be punished for ‘crime’: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian President Vladimir Putin should be punished for “criminal acts”. Zelensky said this in a speech in the capital of the country, The Hague, on a visit to the Netherlands. News: BBC.
“We all want to see a different Vladimir Putin in The Hague,” Zelensky said in The Hague, the city of the International Criminal Court. He deserves a ban for his criminal act. I am sure, when we win, it will happen.’
The president of Ukraine demanded the establishment of a war crimes tribunal to try Russia’s “crimes of aggression” similar to the precedent set at Nuremberg in the trial of Nazi Germany.
Volodymyr Zelensky listed the war crimes. He said that Russia has committed 6,000 war crimes in April alone. 207 Ukrainians including 11 children were killed in these incidents.
Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked for the weapons received from the country during his visit to the Netherlands.
In the speech, the president of Ukraine said, “We did not want the war, now we have to see the end of it and we will leave it.”
Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Netherlands a day after the alleged drone attack on the Kremlin in Moscow. Russia says Ukraine carried out drone strike to kill Vladimir Putin. Meanwhile, today Russia carried out airstrikes across Kiev.
