Pravasi Khosru donated two lakh rupees for the development of Sarighat High School in Jaintapur

Deputy leader of Jaintapur expatriate group, eminent philanthropist, philanthropist, American expatriate community leader, Rotarian Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury Khosru donated two lakh rupees for the development work of traditional Sarighat high school in Jaintapur upazila of Sylhet.

Maulana Shihab Uddin, Education Secretary of Darbast Al Mansoor Madrasa, handed over a check of two lakh rupees on behalf of Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury Khosru to the headmaster and managing committee leaders of the school on Tuesday (January 17) afternoon. Sarighat High School Principal Md. Badiul Alam, President of Managing Committee Imran Ahmad, Vice-Principal of Govt. Women’s College Shahed Ahmad, 17 Parganas Distinguished Tutor Abdul Haque (Haq Sub), Alirgao Union Chairman Nazrul Islam, Member Journalist Suhail Ahmad, Managing Committee teacher representative Delwar Hossain, parent representative Sushen Chandra Dev, Roshanara Begum, Saudi Arabian expatriate Tofail Ahmed, school managing committee members and respected teachers.

Expatriate community leader Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury Khosru is working tirelessly from far away to help improve the quality of education in education institutions, madrassas, mosques and upazilas that are lagging behind in the development of enlightened Jaintapur. These humanitarian initiatives of his are being appreciated by social media and common people.
